Before You Start
- You should know the active entity or client context.
- You should know whether your task is engagement tracking or document-pack review.
- Keep ../15-payroll-audit-controls-and-advisory.md open if you need the wider specialist-module view.
What is Transfer Pricing?
This module is the transfer-pricing workspace. On paper, this would be the client-year tracking sheet, filing calendar, and master/local file pack.
In Beam Machine, it lives under Transfer Pricing.
When do you use this?
Use this module when:
- a transfer-pricing engagement is opened,
- document packs must be reviewed,
- filing deadlines must be tracked,
- or the team needs to know whether work is draft, in review, filed, or amended.
Where do you find it?
Primary path: Finance -> Transfer Pricing
Confirmed routes:
/dashboard/transfer-pricing/dashboard/transfer-pricing/engagements/dashboard/transfer-pricing/documents
Important: the landing page references wider compliance ideas, but the confirmed live route set currently centers on engagements and documents.

Draft,In Review,Filed, orAmended.
Review document packs

- Use this page for master files, local files, and Country-by-Country Report pack visibility.
ā Checkpoint: You should now know whether the TP work is still being prepared, under review, or ready to treat as filed output.
Common Questions & Issues
"The page suggests broader compliance behavior than I can actually open"
Why this happens: The module landing page references wider Section 31 and compliance concepts than the currently confirmed route set fully exposes.
Fix: Use the confirmed routes above as current truth and treat broader ideas as future or adjacent scope unless the screen exists in your environment.
"Can I use a draft document pack for filing?"
Why this happens: The record is visible, but status discipline is still required.
Fix: Check the status before using the pack operationally.
What's Next
- Read 21-working-in-valuation.md if the engagement sits in a wider advisory pack.
- Read ../12-invoicing-banking-and-tax.md if your TP work depends on the tax workspace.
